The annual Sloane Staffing charity golf tournament began in 2020 as a heartfelt initiative by Founders Max and Lindsey Spanier to give back to their community. Since its inception, the tournament has grown in popularity and impact, drawing support from local businesses and individuals. Alongside their dedicated team of 10 employees, the Spaniers organize this event each year to fund programs and projects focused on the health and well-being of children and families. This year's tournament was held on May 10th, 2024, at the picturesque Madison Green Country Club in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. The event featured an 18-hole shotgun start, a delicious catered lunch, a silent auction, a raffle, and more. Over 100 golfers and volunteers participated, enjoying a day filled with fun and camaraderie, all supporting a noble cause.
The Golden Cub Ambassador's Club, founded by Christie Nicklaus, the granddaughter of golf legend Jack Nicklaus, engages individuals aged 21 to 45 in supporting the Foundation's mission to advance children's healthcare both locally and globally.
Max and Lindsey Spanier, owners of Sloane Staffing are dedicated members of the Golden Cub Ambassador's Club and have a deep personal connection to the cause. Their son, Max Jr., was born with multiple heart defects and is currently a cardiology patient at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, where he is expected to undergo heart surgery in the future.
