Overview
The Sales Account Executive identifies, develops, and closes new customer deals with B2B prospects. The role contributes significantly to our high-performing sales team that is built on accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
Reporting to: CEO
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
Working with business development representatives to speak with prospects they’ve secured meetings with.
Prospect relentlessly to build your pipeline; develop relationships with organizations in your territory.
Provide excellent product demonstrations to individual prospects and groups.
Close new and expansion business at or above your assigned sales quota.
Provide accurate forecasts to sales leadership.
Follow established sales processes and methodologies, and keep accurate, up-to-date records of activity.
Develop and execute a strategic plan for your territory.
Provide market feedback and insights to leadership, product, and marketing teams.
Collaborate with your colleagues.
Share best practices that help the sales team be successful.
Success in this Role is Measured by
Meeting quota and other OKRs.
Contributing positively to our sales culture through corporate citizenship.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a closing role in technology sales in a startup environment.
Strong negotiation experience.
Accurate forecasting skills.
Experience navigating government or corporate procurement processes preferred.
