Senior Business Applications Specialist (NA)

Our client seeking an experienced Senior Business Applications Specialist who will be responsible for maintaining the optimal performance of the business applications—primarily Hubspot—and their integrated systems by administrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and extending those systems to optimize and scale business operations and processes.

This includes capabilities such as system administration, automation & workflow design, as well as integration management in a cross functional applications team.

Responsibilities

Manage marketing automation efforts, processes, and integrations, as well as proactively research and implement the latest industry best practices and strategies.

Maintain the Hubspot integration with Salesforce and assist in the integration of additional platforms.

Proactively audit and maintain database health: Consistently monitoring and working with team members to clean the database.

Oversee the correctness of marketing and sales data and propose steps to improve them.

Work with the manager of business applications to plan for and execute on field mappings or automation changes, upgrades, or downtime as necessary and proactively communicate them within our organization.

Assess and identify gaps/issues in our current systems and processes and recommend ways to address them.

Evaluate and assess new platforms when needed to meet changing or evolving business needs/requirements.

Assist with leading on new platform implementations, integrations, and development.

Assist with the administration of net new business applications.

Work closely with the manager of business applications to create documentation around systems, processes, automations, etc.

Communicate updates or important information to marketing program managers that affect data integrity

Preferred Skills And Competencies

Ability to work cross-functionally across teams in various disciplines

Well-rounded technical background in variety of platform technologies

Understanding of typical operational workflows spanning multiple business functions (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Customer services, Finance, etc.)

Working proficiency in platforms such as Jira, Asana, Confluence, Salesforce, Hubspot, Demandbase, etc.

Strong business and technical acumen

Self-sufficient, flexible, and motivated team player capable of managing several activities simultaneously

Ability to work in a deadline focused, dynamic environment, and consistently produce deliverables within agreed upon timelines

Good problem-solving skills - Ability to collaborate and analyze problems and develop solutions

Strong communication, preparedness, and presentation skills

Strong writing skills. Must have the ability to express design, technical knowledge, and processes in easy-to-understand formats

Requirements

B.S./B.A. in a related discipline

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role

Have an in-depth understanding of integrations and database management

Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision
